Spirit Lake KCs induct new officers, welcome new members

The Knights of Columbus Iowa Great Lakes Council 5043 inducted officers for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The monthly meeting was held July 1 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spirit Lake. 
 
Officers inducted by Advocate Jim Miller and Rev. Guenther included:

Wayne Mathine – Financial Secretary

Dale Vortherms – Lecturer 
Dave Kollasch – Inside Guard

The officers reflect the hard work and devotion of fellow Knights, representing charity, unity, 
fraternity and patriotism. 
    
In addition, the Council welcomed new members at its August Exemplification. These men dedicated themselves to the commitment of Charity, Unity and Fraternity required as Knights of Columbus.
