Sibley CDA honors education contest winners, shares other news

Catholic Daughters of the Americas Education Contest Winners at State were presented with their awards at from St. Andrew Court #1540 at St. Andrew church in Sibley following Mass on May 4.

Three of the awards were First Place and will move on to be judged in the national contest. Winner include pictured left to right:  CJ (Carter) Strouth, Amy Thole-2 First Place Awards, Jase Arend, Bonnie Gregg-First Place Award.

Awarded for learning prayers
Religious education students who succeeded in learning all of the prayers assigned to them for their grade were presented with a certificate and an ice cream coupon, following mass at St. Andrew Church of Sibley on Sunday May 4.  

Members of St. Andrew Catholic Daughters Court #1540 assist at religious education classes throughout the year to help the teachers and parents to teach these prayers.
