Onawa-Blencoe KC Toy Drive underway

The Onawa-Blencoe Knights of Columbus Christmas Toy Drive is now underway to make a merrier Christmas for area children and their families. 
 
New toys, food items and clothing can be donated in Onawa at Bomgaars, Dollar General, Lewis Pharmacy, Sunshine Foods and St. John Catholic Church; also, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix. There are large boxes at each of these locations for gifts. 
 
West Central Outreach in Onawa is the recipient of these generous donations. Amy Johnston, director, and her staff of volunteers will sort everything by age and gender for the folks who are most in need in Monona County.
 
The final pickup is on Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. with the Knights delivering all items to the Evangelical Free Church warehouse in Onawa for WCO sorting.  
  
The Knights of Columbus Council #6249 helps keep Christ in Christmas by conducting the Monona County Toy Drive every year to supplement the charitable efforts of West Central Outreach.
