Over 200 individuals were in attendance Sept. 17 at Country Celebrations Event Center in Sioux City for Dinner with Johnnette and Jack Williams.
The couple spoke for about 90 minutes about their faith and leaning into prayer after the hardship of losing a spouse. Johnnette spoke of joining EWTN radio in 1987, her coming back to her Catholic faith after college and losing her son in a late-night car accident. Jack spoke about his conversion to the Catholic faith at the prayerful urging of his last wife and the path that led him to Johnnette through the guidance of Father Wade Menezes. Earlier in the day, Johnnette Williams hosted “Women of Grace” from the Siouxland Catholic Radio 88.1 FM studios for a global audience. Don and Mary Stevens were the host couple for the event. Siouxland Catholic Radio 88.1 FM Board President Joanne Fox served as the emcee for the night. The meal was catered by Aggies.
