Don Happe 100th June 15

Don Happe of Sioux City will celebrate his 100^th birthday on June 15. 

Born in Carroll to Theo and Loretta (Koll) Happe, he is the eldest of eight siblings. Happe married Alyce Duncan of Carroll on May 22, 1946, at St. Joseph’s Church in Carroll.  They moved to Sioux City in 1954 where Don began a 32-year career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  Alyce passed away on Feb. 28, 2000. 

Don and Alyce are parents to Patricia (Jim) Hagberg, John (deceased 2020) (Dede), Charles (Carol), Thomas (Charisse), Robert (Jane), Mary Clare (David), Paula (deceased 2006) (Brian), Jean (David) Waligoski, James (Kendra), Donna (Tom),Kern and  Daniel (Brandee).  They have 32 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
