Salix St. Joseph Chicken Dinner

St. Joseph's Parish in Salix (just south of Sioux City) will be hosting their Famous Chicken They will serve broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, salads, dinner rolls and dessert. Dinner tickets are $13 for adults, children 6-10 are $6 and 5 and under free.
New this year the parish is sponsoring an all cash raffle with tickets for $10 for 10 chances. The raffle offers chances to win one of 17 cash prizes: 10 - $100 winners, 4 - $250 winners, 2 - $500 winners and one grand prize winner of $1,000. There will be a total of over $4,000 in cash prizes.

The event includes the Country Store with items from parishioners, canned goods and fresh garden items. Split the Pot will also be back - one dollar a chance and one lucky winner takes half the pot at the end of the day.
