Mary’s Choice pregnancy and family resource center of Sioux City is hosting the annual Giving Hope Banquet Oct. 15. The event features guest speaker Brandy Meeks, president of the Vitae Foundation and a leader in the national pro-life movement.

The Siouxland Coalition Against Human Trafficking is sponsoring a walk for awareness regarding human trafficking. The event is Oct. 19 and begins at Crystal Cove Park 1200 W. 39th Street in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
