Betty Ann and Randy Schmitz mark 50th on Dec. 21

Betty Ann and Randy Schmitz, members of Ascension Parish in Boone, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Dec. 21.

They have two children: Cory and wife Tanja with three children - Ava, Leif and Sienna; and Kelli and her husband Jeff with two children - Kalynne and Wesley.

The Schmitz' were married Dec. 21, 1974.
