A Pocahontas Catholic School third grade student is encouraging reading in his classroom by sharing his favorite books with classmates. Becky Crotty's third grade classroom has a series of books displayed, along with two clipboards for students to check out books.
This was the idea of third-grader Jett Essing, providing books are from his home library. Since he started this project, some of his classmates have also brought their favorite books to school. Essing said he wanted the students in his class to read more.
