Mater Dei parishioners tour South Dakota religious sites

Several dozen members of Mater Dei Parish boarded a travel bus for a trip to religious sites in South Dakota on Aug. 14.

The first stop was in Alexandria, South Dakota, to tour the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, the Fatima Family Shrine, and St. Mary of Mercy Church. 

On the return trip, the bus stopped in Sioux Falls for a tour of the St. Joseph Cathedral. 

The final stop was at Falls Park, where the group wandered around the Falls of the Big Sioux River and gathered for some food.
