Knights contribute to flood victims

The Iowa Great Lakes Knights of Columbus Council 5043 held a pancake breakfast for flood victims. Proceeds were given to Spencer Council Grand Knight Michael Raner in a presentation last week at St. Mary Parish, Spirit Lake.  

The Knights last month served pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice, with a free will offering to benefit those most impacted by the floods. Knights of Columbus Council 5043 matched the total donations with an additional $1,000.
